Where to buy food and drink

Find out where you can buy great local food in Truro.

Upstairs in Lemon Street Market, you’ll find the food market run by Fig Cafe.

You can get a great breakfast and go out with a basket of Cornish goodies such as coffee, bread, storecupboard goods and wine.

While you are in Lemon Street Market, check out the Refill Store which is full of storecupboard goods. You can take your own containers (but they have paper bags too, so don’t worry if you forget!)

Hamilton Liquor Cellars is in Lemon Street Market and is a cornucopia of all sorts of liquor. Cornwall has a great range of artisinal gins and you’ll find these at Johns as well as a fabulous selection of Rums and Whiskeys.

Great Cornish Food is a little outside the centre on the Tregurra Estate, next to Waitrose.

You can easily get here on the Park and Ride - and in fact, you might be coming into the city via here.

You’ll find a superb range of storecupboard foods, fresh meat and fish and also Cornish gifts which are perfect for taking home with you.

The cafe is light and airy and the cheese scones are probably the best you’ll have in Cornwall.
