Home and Interiors

There are some superb independent home and interior shops in Truro to sort all tastes and budget. Here are our recommendations.

In Lemon Street Market you’ve got a choice of shops which fit the bill perfectly. Try Wishlist and Illustrated Living - both chock full of cool Scandi covetable homewares and then visit brand new Freddie & Matilda for local artsy crafty interior gift items.

You’ll find not one, but two of Truro’s favourite shops, Uneeka. Quirky and retro, the City Road store is full of furniture, clocks and lighting, while it’s sister shop in Boscowan Street is home to candles, tableware and lots of gift ideas.

Cotton Mills runs a full interior design service run by Ali, who is your ‘Go-To’ in Truro for soft furnishings. Also selling fabric by the meter and soon to be moving into a gorgeous new premises.

Mallets is the place to go for all of the necessities of home life. The shop is a cornucopia of everything from nuts and bolts to food mixer and bone china. It also has a toy department.

Truro Fabrics is also chock full of fabrics, buttons and pretty much anything you could need for making your own soft furnishings.

Roseland Furniture is found in Calenick Street too - full of contemporary and classic furniture.

Bay Tree Home in Cathedral Lane is an Aladdins Cave full of beautiful homewares which would look lovely in your home. Lamps, table and glassware and cards too.
